I started SEO just a little too late to take advantage of comment spam. A year or so earlier I could have got loads of easy links to my sites just by replying to posts on websites and mentioning my URL. Once you open the software you can type in a keyword, search for it and a list of hundreds of blogs will appear within a few minutes. Next to them you will see the PageRank of the post and whether it allows links to be followed or not. In a typical search you can expect to find (very roughly) 60% “unknown” results, 30% “nofollowed”, 6% “HTTP Errors” and 4% “Followed”.
